Article 21 of the Law provides that the decision on registration of acquisition of citizenship of Ukraine is cancelled, if the person acquired citizenship of Ukraine in accordance with articles 8 and 10 of this Law, by deception, by presenting false information or false documents, concealment of any significant fact at presence of which the person cannot acquire the citizenship of Ukraine.

According to the obligation to terminate foreign citizenship, approved by Order of MIA of Ukraine 20.07.2006, No. 716, a citizen of another state shall within two years from the date of acquisition of the citizenship of Ukraine, to terminate citizenship of another state and submit to the authority issuing a temporary certificate of citizen of Ukraine, the document on termination of citizenship of another state, issued by a duly competent authority of that state.

In the case of non-receipt of them for reasons beyond his control document on termination of citizenship of another state, he shall file a Declaration of renunciation of citizenship of that state and to return to the national passport of the citizen of another state to the authority of this state.
