Immigration processes for Ukrainians today is very urgent. Many of our fellow citizens go to the nearest country in the Russian Federation.

Why? The answer is simple, it is one of the least expensive ways of immigration from Ukraine at present, besides many go to their relatives living in Russia. But is it just an immigrant settled in Russia. The key issue is formal employment.

So, some foreign nationals may work in Russia without any special permission. These include (the"Law on legal status of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation" article 13, part 4, 4.2):

1) permanently or temporarily residing in Russia (those who have a residence permit, can work in any region; those who have a temporary residence permit - only within the region where they issued it);

2) participants of the state Program and members of their families moving together with them to Russia;

3) employees of embassies, consulates, international organizations, and private household workers;

4) employees of foreign companies performing installation (contract supervision) works, service and warranty, post-warranty repair delivered to Russia equipment;

5) journalists accredited in Russia;

6) foreigners studying in Russian vocational education and performing work during the holidays or in their spare time as a learning-support staff in their educational institution;

8) foreigners invited to Russia as teachers, besides teaching in institutions of religious education;

9) employees of foreign companies accredited and registered in Russia (on the basis of the principle of reciprocity in accordance with international treaties of the Russian Federation – that is, only those States with which our country has signed such an agreement);

10) citizens of Belarus and Kazakhstan (the"Agreement on the legal status of migrant workers and members of their families" (St. Petersburg, November 19, 2010)).
