STUDY FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IN UKRAINE

Foreigners who are granted government scholarships for international agreements, national programs, other international obligations of Ukraine, are accepted for training on the basis of directions of the Ministry of education and science within the limits of volumes of the state order.

Foreigners of Ukrainian origin, who received training from the Ukrainian national-cultural societies, with membership in higher educational institutions of Ukraine in the areas of fields of knowledge "pedagogical education", "arts", "Humanities", "journalism and information", "social and political Sciences" have the same rights to education as citizens of Ukraine, including when applying for training by the state order (order of the Ministry of education and Neukirchen from 18.09.2009, No. 8773). They participate in the competition for admission on the same basis as citizens of Ukraine.

When applying for other directions of preparation (specialities) foreigners of Ukrainian origin, who received training from Ukrainian national and cultural societies, have the same rights to education as citizens of Ukraine, if they were participants of international Olympiads with General education courses, the entrance test of which is defined by the University as a profile for admission to the favorites coming in the direction of training (specialty).

Foreigners and persons without citizenship who permanently reside in Ukraine, and who have been granted refugee status in Ukraine are accepted to higher educational institutions in the manner prescribed for the citizens of Ukraine.

Foreigners who received complete General secondary education in foreign schools with Ukrainian language of instruction, are accepted in University entrance tests provided by these Rules of admission, within established quotas on the recommendations of the Ukrainian national cultural societies and diplomatic missions of Ukraine abroad.
Foreign citizens and stateless persons which do not fall under the above Rules shall be credited for training in higher educational institutions according to the results of the interview and on the basis of a contract.
