For a more effective fight against corruption in our country in the "BRIBE" sector, now - at the initial stage, it is necessary to introduce into the Legislation of Ukraine a norm providing for the remuneration of the "bribe-giver" in double the amount of his "gift", of course, provided that he will declare this in advance.
Such an innovative rule of law, in my opinion, and from my life and attorney (legal) experience:
First, it stimulates the interest of the "bribe-giver" who will clearly understand that the "insatiable official" will be punished and will forever say goodbye to the state. service, with all the consequences, and for this, from the state, on legal grounds, the applicant will receive a reward in double the amount of the "gift";
Secondly: the "insatiable official" will clearly understand that in the event of his illegal actions, they will "earn" on him, and his career will come to an end.
To equalize the chances and observe the legal balance on this issue, the "official" should also be given the opportunity to "make money on the bribe giver". This is when the "official" announces in advance about the "bribe-giver" and receives, but from the state, the entire (or its half) amount of the alleged bribe as a reward for honesty.
Mechanisms, techniques and legislation to combat corruption in this way are not difficult to develop.
The very existence and formulation of the question, thus, will tell that the existing government in Ukraine is really and really ready to really eradicate such a phenomenon as corruption, and economically stimulate this process.
The question "Who will finance this program and from what means?" can be asked to the international structures of the EU and the US interested in eliminating corruption in Ukraine.
