The Ukrainian Bar Association calls for participation in the "All-Ukrainian Day of Free Legal Aid"

The Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) calls on all lawyers to take part in the “All-Ukrainian Day of Free Legal Assistance”, which will be held on May 25 in all cities of Ukraine.

The project aims to develop a culture of providing non-state free legal assistance in Ukraine. On this day, lawyers will provide qualified legal assistance to those who need it most, namely: low-income individuals, public, charitable and other non-profit organizations, as well as small businesses.

Also on this day, a round table will be held on the problems of building a system of free legal assistance with the participation of the country's leading legal and charitable organizations and project partners.

A list of companies that support this initiative will be posted on the APU website, thanks to which people who need the help of lawyers will be able to receive feedback from participating organizations.

The project started in 2010 on the initiative of the Ukrainian Bar Association and every year found a response among leading bar associations and law firms throughout Ukraine. The problem of building an effective legal aid system in the country occupies a significant place in the work of legislators and lawyers in general.

The Lawyer Alexander Yevsiutin  takes an active part in the creation of a system of free secondary legal assistance in Ukraine and plans to accept the invitation and head the regional FLH center.

The partners of the “All-Ukrainian Day of Free Legal Aid” are the Ukrainian Lawyers Association, the Ukrainian Bar Association, the Ukrainian Bar Association, the Ukrainian Bar Council, the International Renaissance Foundation, the Ukrainian Helsinki Union for Human Rights and the Ukrainian Legal Aid Foundation.
