Discrimination against Ukrainian citizens abroad


Ukrainian officials and officials in the European Union accuse thousands of Ukrainian men of crimes under Art. 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (evasion of mobilization), without sufficient grounds, since they have no information that these persons are wanted for crimes committed.

In this way, they incite local EU citizens against Ukrainian men, which can lead to illegal actions against Ukrainians who are refugees in other countries.

They say. that Ukrainians must return and fight for their family. That is, they clearly propose to discriminate against men. This is gender discrimination.

Article 14 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (Rome, 4 November 1950) Prohibits discrimination. The enjoyment of the rights and freedoms recognized in this Convention must be ensured without any discrimination on the basis of sex, race, colour, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, membership of a national minority, property or birth or for any other reason.

According to Article 1 of Protocol No. 12 to the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (Rome, November 4, 2000) skin, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, membership of a national minority, property, birth or for any other reason.

No one may be discriminated against by any public authority on the grounds mentioned in paragraph 1 of this article.
