Permanent residence permit gives the possibility to stay in Ukraine permanently, unlike the temporary residence permit, which gives this right for a period usually 1 year.

Citizens of countries visa-free entry to Ukraine (Russia, USA, EU countries etc.) can stay in Ukraine for 90 days within 180 days. After the expiration of 90 days he must leave Ukraine and enter for 90 days, for violation of this condition, perhaps the use of administrative and criminal sanctions, such as fines, deportation will overwrite the entry on the territory of Ukraine for the term up to 3 years, and in the case of illegal crossing of the state border is deprivation of liberty for a term up to 8 years.

The permanent residence permit it is advisable to get those foreign nationals who have the intention to permanently reside on the territory of Ukraine, as a permanent residence raises the prospect of future citizenship.
